Aaron D. Stover
Aaron Stover is director of development, Eastern region, at The Heartland Institute, where he focuses on major gift solicitation and donor cultivation/renewal throughout metropolitan DC and the East Coast region. He previously served as associate director of advancement at the Atlantic Council, where he managed prospect research and fundraising strategy for major gift donors. Stover also worked as senior program officer at the Center for European Policy Analysis, director of corporate research and strategic marketing manager at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and as a project manager for the U.S.-EU-Slovakia Action Commission at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He has held a number of corporate IT and accounting roles in the private sector.
Stover earned a master’s degree cum laude in European studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in government and French from the University of Texas at Austin. He also studied political science at the University of Paris at Nanterre.
