Science vs. Politics in Environmental Policy
Jay Lehr, Ph.D., The Heartland Institute's science director, will speak on March 13 to the Wisconsin Forum, a 38-year-old organization devoted to ensuring a "marketplace of ideas."
Lehr is an internationally renowned speaker, scientist, and author who has testified before Congress on more than three dozen occasions on environmental issues and has consulted with nearly every agency of the federal government and with many foreign countries. Lehr is an outspoken proponent of sane environmental regulation that does not overly distort problems to the economic detriment of society.
