The corporate income tax causes businesses to raise prices to consumers, lower wages and benefits to workers, and pay lower benefits to shareholders, who include nearly anyone with a retirement account, says Roy Cordato of the John Locke Foundation in North Carolina. He explains why North Carolina, which has the highest corporate tax rate in the Southeast, needs to end the tax.
