Jonathan Butcher: Time to Replace Schools with Full Choice

Putting all kids through the same building for K-12 can't meet their individual needs in our flexible, personalized world, says Jonathan Butcher, education director at the Goldwater Institute. He’s recently put out a report called "A Vision for Education and the Future of Learning," and he joins the podcast to discuss ways lawmakers can restructure education funding and regulations to better fit kids' needs. “Traditional classrooms cannot equip every child for whatever their unique future holds, whether they move on to college or enter the job market," he says. "In fact, school, as we have known it, may be part of the problem.”
