Mark Thornton: The Drug War Drives Child Migrants to the US Border

This nation's war on drugs extends beyond the United States borders into many other countries, including Mexico and Central America. As a result, unaccompanied children from Mexico and Central American countries are now pouring across the border into the US, says economist Mark Thornton, who has spent many years studying the consequences of government prohibitions on alcohol, drugs and other items.
