We are all for sensible conservation and against unnecessary waste, but it is certainly time to awaken the public to both the realities and absurdities of the green building movement and every other green marketing fad. It is likely that before too many years the public will recognize, as Mr. Adams explains, that many products thought to be good for the environment don't pass a common-sense audit.
