Catch Me If You Can

CHICAGO (Aug. 19) – Peter Ferrara, one of the nation’s leading health care analysts and author of a new policy study for The Heartland Institute, charged in the American Spectator Wednesday that President Obama is misrepresenting several key factors in the health care overhaul proposals being pushed by congressional Democrats.

Protection of Medicare benefits, health care inflation, the right of consumers to retain the physicians and insurance plans they have currently, and rationing of health care services and products are among the areas where President Obama’s reassuring rhetoric fails to match the reality of the printed bills and proposals in Congress.
