Comments from American Energy Alliance Submitted to EPA Regarding the Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for Greenhouse Gases Under the Clean Air Act
The American Energy Alliance submits these comments in response to the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPR) regarding the regulation of greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act (Docket ID # EPA-HQ-OAR-2008-0318).
These comments demonstrate that using the Clean Air Act to regulate greenhouse gas emissions is unwarranted and would greatly harm human health and welfare. To quote EPA Administrator Johnson, the Clean Air Act “is ill-suited for the task of regulating global greenhouse gases.”
