Experts Agree: Public Support for Stadiums Is Madness

Missouri state legislators and the media have gone mad. It has happened before and it may happen again. In the face of massive research proving that the financing of sports stadiums are a drain on public resources, are of minimal or no economic benefit to a region, and enrich primarily the owners of sport teams, St. Louis City, St. Louis County and the state might succumb to the frenzied push and dole out many millions for decades to come.
