Measuring Charter Performance: A Review of Public Charter School Achievement Studies

Studies that use the best data and the most sophisticated research techniques show charter schools outperforming comparable traditional public schools, says a research review from the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. The most recent studies also demonstrate overall that charter schools produce more instances of significant achievement gains in math and reading when compared to traditional public schools.
