The Sun-Times' coverage of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to hear a challenge to Chicago's handgun ban obscures several issues as it restates the standard pros and cons in the gun-control debate.
In Chicago, armed potential victims know they are lawbreakers, just like the criminals they fear. These citizens can only hope the U.S. Supreme Court will finally place them on the proper side of the law as they seek the protections of the 2nd and 14th amendments to the U.S. Constitution.
