'School-to-Work': NCEE Pursues Flawed Education Reform

This century has seen American education awash in faddish reforms, particulary in the last decade. Open classrooms, new math, who language, outcome-based education, cooperative learning and other reforms have American education wallowing in mediocrity. Today many students graduate from high school without the necessary literacy or math skills to perform college-level work or function on the job.
