State Strategies for Awarding Credit to Support Student Learning

The National Governors Association has recognized that America’s education system is failing to produce the highly skilled workforce that is needed to compete in the global economy. This report calls into question current seat time requirements that many states operate and suggests this practice is one of the underlying problems contributing to the current state of education.
