Universal Medical Savings Accounts Offer Way Out of Health Care Mess

In this document, the unsigned authors contends that health care savings accounts (or medical savings accounts) are beneficial because they help consumers pay quickly for services by health care professionals.  The tax shelters allowed by these accounts encourage people to set aside money tax free to pay for such services.  The system encourages consumers to make wiser decisions and provides incentives to consumers to understand the cost of health care provision.
