Celtic Discovery: a/k/a/ Joe & Diane's Excellent Vacation

Between September 8 and September 24, 2001,
Heartland president Joseph Bast and vice president Diane Bast enjoyed a
remarkable 17-day vacation in Ireland.

Though you really need to visit the
Emerald Isle yourself to experience Ireland properly, we thought we'd whet
your appetite with a few of our dozens of photographs.

You can enjoy the show in one of two ways: As
Web pages you can view online, or as a Microsoft PowerPoint slide show you can
download and view at your leisure.

Please note that it takes a while for the images to appear, especially if you don't have a high-speed connection. But they will
appear!

To
download and view the PowerPoint slide show, print this page and follow these
five steps.

1. Create a new folder called Ireland on
   your computer. That way, when you're ready to remove the slide show
   from your computer, all the files are in one place.
   
   
   
   
2. Click here
   to download Ireland.exe. Specify that it should download into your new
   Ireland folder. It will take between 5 and 10 minutes to download,
   depending on the speed of your connection.
   
   
   
   
3. When the download is accomplished, your
   download manager may automatically prompt you with "click here to
   install Ireland.exe." Go ahead and do that. If your download manager doesn't
   prompt you, then you'll need to open
   your new Ireland folder in Windows Explorer and double-click on
   Ireland.exe. When prompted, specify the Ireland folder as the
   destination for the files.
   
   
   
   
4. When the extraction is accomplished, open
   the Ireland folder and double-click on pngsetup.exe. Again, specify
   the Ireland folder as the destination for the files.
   
   
   
   
5. When that extraction is
   accomplished, you may automatically be prompted to run the slideshow; go
   ahead and do that if it's convenient for you. If you're not prompted, or
   if you'd rather wait, then simply open the Ireland folder when you're
   ready to view the show and double-click on
   ppview32.exe. Click on Ireland.ppt to start that slide show.
