Come Meet Glenn Loury in Chicago on September 9th

On Thursday, September 9, the Chicago-based New Coalition for Economic and Social Change will host a luncheon with Glenn Loury, professor of economics and director of the Institute on Race and Social Division at Boston University. He will discuss "The Blame Game: Personal vs. Social Responsibility in the Race and Poverty Debate."

Loury is a frequent commentator on national radio and television, a much sought-after public speaker, and an advisor on social issues to business and political leaders across the country. His collection of essays, One by One, From the Inside Out: Essays and Reviews on Race and Responsibility in America, won the 1996 American Book Award and the 1996 Christianity Today Book Award.
