Ross Kaminsky

Ross Kaminsky received his Bachelor's degree from Columbia University in 1987 before embarking on his career as a derivatives trader. He is currently a proprietary trader and a founder of a capital management (hedge fund) company. He has been actively involved in and thinking about public policy for 20 years, and served as a member of the Board of Directors of The Heartland Institute. Mr. Kaminsky is also a regular donor to other free-market and libertarian organizations including Reason, the Cato Institute, and the Independence Institute.

Mr. Kaminsky blogs daily at www.rossputin.com where he presents "rational thinking about our world" and invites comments from those who agree and disagree as long as they're actually using their brains. He also guest-hosts local talk radio shows, debates left-leaning politicians and think-tank personnel on issues of the day, and generally enjoys trying to influence people's opinion toward a greater appreciation of liberty.
