Kansas Emerging Energy Issues Forum
Heartland will be hosting an Emerging Energy Issues Forum in Topeka, Kansas on Thursday, February 13 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel. Prominent policy experts from Kansas and around the country will be featured in panel discussions addressing the state's most important energy issues including Heartland's James Taylor, Isaac Orr, and many more.
Prominent policy experts from Kansas and around the country will be featured in panel discussions addressing upcoming energy and environmental policy issues in Kansas and the United States.
The Forum will address issues such as renewable portfolio standards, renewable fuel standards, net metering, hydraulic fracturing, and the impact of EPA Rules and Regulations.
The Heartland Institute focuses on discovering, developing, and promoting free-market solutions to social and economic problems. The goal of our policy forums is to give lawmakers, business leaders, and engaged citizens insight into problems they are facing and innovative free-market policy ideas that can help solve them.
