2006 Educational Choice Speaker Series
The Illinois School Choice Initiative, a project of The Heartland Institute, cordially invites you to its 2006 Educational Choice Speaker Series: a monthly luncheon series featuring national school choice experts.
On June 15, 2006, the luncheon speaker will be Robert C. Enlow, executive director of the Milton & Rose D. Friedman Foundation.*
Enlow joined the Milton & Rose D. Friedman Foundation for Educational Choice in 1996. Initially, Enlow worked as the foundation’s fundraiser and projects coordinator. In 1999, he was promoted to vice president, programs and public relations.
Enlow leads a national effort striving to educate parents, public policy makers, and organizations about the desperate need for a shift of power to the disenfranchised parents of America who have limited choices and voices in the education of their children. The foundation serves as an indispensable resource for parents and community groups who want parental choice in education and are ready to fight for it.
Enlow’s editorials and quotes have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Human Events, Indianapolis Star, Indianapolis News, San Francisco Examiner, Miami Herald, and other publications. He is a regular guest on talk radio and has testified before several legislatures and a U.S. Senate subcommittee.
