Douglas H. Cook

Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor, Regent University School of Law

Doug Cook is a teacher, an educational administrator, and a practicing lawyer.  He joined the Regent law faculty in 1987, one year after the law school opened in Virginia Beach.  He has taught Torts and related subjects ever since.  Since 2000, he has served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the law school.  He is Of Counsel with the Chesapeake law firm of Davis Law Group, where his part-time law practice focuses on nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations and church law
