The bill would require school districts to make it clear any parent can opt their child out of statewide testing in third through 12th grade. It also requires districts to publish and distribute to parents a list of all tests administered, including details of how long it takes to prepare for and administer the exams. Rep. Jeremy Thiesfeldt (R-Fond du Lac) wrote the bill.
