Charles Breeden

Professor of Economics (emeritus), Marquette University

Dr. Breeden, a Policy Advisor to The Heartland Institute, joined Marquette University in 1979 after earning a Ph.D. in Economics from Virginia Tech where he studied under James Buchanan and Gordon Tullock.

His background also includes two years in the aerospace industry in Brevard County, Florida. He currently teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Managerial Economics, Public Sector Economics, and Economics and Law. His current research focuses on the proper measurement of tort damages.
