Dale Matcheck

Assistant Professor of Economics, Northwood University

Dr. Matcheck earned his Ph.D. from Cornell University. His dissertation and research interests are in the economics of property rights and environmental quality. Matcheck is an advisor for Students in Free Enterprise and a developer of economist trading cards (as seen in The Wall Street Journal and Dave Barry’s Christmas Gift Guide).

He has been a professor of economics at Northwood University since 1996. Prior to that he taught at the University of Michigan’s Flint campus. He is the co-editor (with Timothy G. Nash) of When We Are Free, an anthology of essays in defense of individual liberty and the market economy.
