Daniel J. Dew

Criminal Justice Fellow, The Buckeye Institute

Daniel J. Dew is a Criminal Justice Fellow at The Buckeye Institute for Public Policy Solutions, where he works on criminal justice reform and other legal issues. Dew is also a policy advisor for The Heartland Institute. 

Previously, Dew was a Visiting Legal Fellow at The Heritage Foundation’s Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies where his research focused on over-criminalization and criminal justice reform. Dew’s work has been presented in various media outlets such as FoxNews.com and The Huffington Post.

Dew is a graduate of Cleveland Marshall College of Law and received his undergraduate degree from Utah State University.

Immediately prior to joining The Buckeye Institute, Dew represented large corporations in contract negotiations.
