A fair amount of Houston’s work now involves the activities of the “FEDS” (Finance, Economics, and Decision Sciences), of which he is Area Director. Houston continues to teach economics courses primarily and the school’s only course in “political economy.” He is quite interested in “behavioral economics” and the affects that evolutionary psychology and neurosciences are playing in informing economics.
