Eugene Kontorovich is a professor of law at Northwestern University and a policy advisor for legal affairs at The Heartland Institute. Kontorovich’s research spans the fields of constitutional law, international law, and law and economics. He is currently writing about Second Amendment issues, and the interplay of the U.S. Constitution and international law.
He went to college and law school at the University of Chicago, where he also taught for two years as a visiting professor. After law school, he clerked for Judge Richard Posner on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
