Roger Beauchamp

Roger G. Beauchamp, D.D.S., graduated from the University of Michigan with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1959. He is a founding member and past president of Doctor’s Park of Escanaba, Michigan, which has provided office space for more than 50 health care professionals. Doctors Park built a suite to house the Michigan State University medical education program when it was graduating 10 students per year trained as family physicians with a traditional M.D. degree.

Dr. Beauchamp is a founding member of Medicenter of Escanaba, one of our nation’s early skilled care nursing facilities. He has served as president of the Cloverland District Dental Society, a trustee of the Michigan Dental Association, and a representative to the American Dental Association. He has participated in the Health Benefits Reform internet debate group since approximately 2010. The group was once monitored by Greg Scandlen, former associate editor of Health Care News.

Dr. Beauchamp has written numerous articles on health care reform, specifically health care tax policy. He resides with his wife in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. Some of his writings appear at his website, http://drbeauchamp.wordpress.com
