CHICAGO, February 17, 2004 — C-Span 2 Book TV will air coverage of the recent Heartland Institute luncheon featuring John Stossel on Sunday, February 22, 2004 at 4:00pm and again at 9:15pm (CST). Stossel, an ABC news correspondent, co-anchor with Barbara Walters of 20/20, and producer/host of several ABC News special reports, addressed the February 4, 2004 event at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Chicago.
Stossel discussed his new book, Give Me a Break: How I Exposed Hucksters, Cheats, and Scam Artists and Became the Scourge of the Liberal Media. The luncheon was attended by more than 200 Heartland supporters and friends and was prominently featured in the February 15, 2004 edition of the Chicago Sun-Times.
