Lehr to Keynote National Animal Interest Alliance Luncheon

CHICAGO, March 25, 2004 — Heartland Institute Senior Fellow and Science Director Dr. Jay Lehr will speak at the national conference of the National Animal Interest Alliance (NAIA) on March 29, 2004 at 12:30 pm at the Holiday Inn on the Hill in Washington, DC.

Lehr’s keynote luncheon speech is titled “The Effect of Radical Agendas, Junk Science, and Propaganda on Public Policy Decisions.” Lehr joins a group of distinguished speakers at the NAIA conference, including Congressmen George Nethercutt (R-Washington) and Chris Chocola (R-Indiana); Matt Hogan, Deputy Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service; and William Hawks, Under Secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
