Poll Exposes Widespread Voter Fraud in the 2020 Election

Published December 14, 2023

In December 2023, The Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports released two polls in which voters who cast mail-in ballots admitted to widespread voter fraud and that President Trump and others who questioned the legitimacy of the 2020 election should face harsh punishment.

One-in-Five Mail-In Voters Admit to Committing at Least One Kind of Voter Fraud During 2020 Election

Posted to former President Donald J. Trump’s Truth Social account on December 13, 2023

17% of mail-in voters admit that in 2020 they voted in a state where they are “no longer a permanent resident”

21% of mail-in voters admitted that they filled out a ballot for a friend or family member

17% of mail-in voters said they signed a ballot for a friend or family member “with or without his or her permission”

8% of likely voters say they were offered “pay” or a “reward” for voting in 2020

Taken together, the results of these survey questions appear to show that voter fraud was widespread in the 2020 election, especially among those who cast mail-in ballots.

The poll surveyed likely voters from Nov. 30 – Dec. 6, 2023 and was released on Dec. 12, 2023.

47% of likely voters believe Trump guilty of alleged crimes to overturn the 2020 election, including 72% of Democrats and 20% of Republicans

18% of Democrat likely voters think Trump should be punished by “jail for life,” “permanent exile,” or “death,” if found guilty

77% of Democrat likely voters think Trump should be “banned from running” for public office again, if found guilty

48% of likely voters say media members who alleged election fraud should be criminally punished, if Trump found guilty

48% of Democrat likely voters believe media members who alleged election fraud should be “banned from public speaking,” receive prison time, or a combination of both

The poll surveyed likely voters from Nov. 30 – Dec. 6, 2023 and was released on Dec. 12, 2023.

The polls were huge news across America. Scroll below for some highlights of that coverage.

Jesse Watters poll art

Jesse Watters Primetime, Fox News Channel: “Jimmy Carter himself found mail-in ballots are ripe for fraud. And a new survey about the last election suggests it’s more widespread than we realized.”

Nationally syndicated radio host Mike Gallagher: “This, to me, is one of the most significant stories of our lifetime. … The story of the year, if not the century.”

Nationally syndicated radio host Mike Gallagher during December 18, 2023 interview with Heartland Institute’s Donald Kendal: “You know the old line about one of the greatest tricks the devil plays is to deny that he even exists. In that same vein, I think one of the greatest tricks the mainstream media has played is to suggest that there was no evidence of widespread election fraud in the 2020 election.”

The Mike Gallagher Show broadcast on Salem News Channel: “This is the biggest story that the media won’t touch.”

Tim Pool with 1.22 million subscribers on YouTube: “Mail In Voters ADMIT TO VOTER FRAUD In 2020 Says New Poll, Trump Will WIN In 2024 As Democrats PANIC.”

Nationally syndicated radio host Mark Levin: “The Heartland Institute is a fantastic independent foundation. … How did our Attorney General, the Department of Justice, and the US attorneys miss it? No wonder the judges didn’t want to hold any evidentiary hearings or trial. No wonder the media continues to this day to say it was the cleanest election in history.”

Nationally syndicated Sean Hannity Show (fill-in hosts Eric Eggers and Peter Schweizer): “You know, I saw a Washington Post article that tried to sort of dismiss and refute those poll results. It’s like, oh, that’s impossible. Here’s what’s not impossible. The Supreme Court cited statistics from a Pew survey that was done in 2012 that said one in eight voter registrations in the country were wrong. So we know there’s tons of voter registration error.”

Nationally syndicated radio host Charlie Kirk: “(Guest Donald Kendal) The left’s response to it, and they’re trying to dismiss it in a whole series of ways, is that maybe it’s not as nefarious as you might as you might think. You know, oh, we’ve had mail in balloting before and all of this and it’s never been an issue. I don’t know where these people are coming from because the mail in balloting that we’ve had prior to COVID is radically different than the system that we had set up during the 2020 election where basically everybody was sent a ballot and everybody can vote that way. So no doubt that was just a recipe for disaster.”

Jeff Kuhner, WRKO, Boston: “The 2020 election. It was stolen. This is the mother of all bombshell polls released yesterday by Rasmussen along with the Heartland Institute. And the thing that needs to be said right off the bat is when it comes to Rasmussen reports, they are the most or one of the most credible, most respected, legitimate, accurate polling firms in the entire country. So if it comes from Rasmussen, it’s rock solid. They teamed up with the Heartland Institute, another group that is also very respectable, extremely credible.”

Dinesh D’Sousa Podcast: “This is the failure, the breakdown of our system if you will. But here it is in a sense from the horse’s mouth, the cheaters. … And so I think what this Rasmussen survey very significantly adds to our body of knowledge about the 2020 election and continues to put in the grave the idea that this was the most secure election in history. It manifestly was not, it could arguably the least secure election in US history.”

Mike Gallagher Show: “There’s an extreme chilling effect that was installed in our country after the 2020 election. And I think that this poll and the results, how overwhelming they were, chips away at that chilling effect. So what I’m hoping is that this allows more of a conversation about this extremely important idea.”

Fill-in host Andrew Lander, WMAL, Washington, DC: “Justin Haskins, director of the Heartland Institute Social Research Center said for the past three years, Americans have been repeatedly told that the 2020 election was the most secured history. but if this poll’s findings are reflective of reality, the exact opposite is true. This conclusion isn’t based on conspiracy theories or suspect evidence, but rather from the responses made directly by the voters themselves.”

Nationally syndicated host Chris Plante: “One in 5 voters who cast mail-in ballots — the Democrats insist on and love mail-in ballots; France does not allow them — during the November 2020 election admit to committing voter fraud, according to a new poll by the Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports. … This is way more than enough to swing the election. This is why the left loves mail-out ballots, because they are easy to corrupt.”

Nationally syndicated host Chris Plante on Dec. 19, 2023: “Elected official among six D.C. residents who were fined, nothing more, for double voting, that is to say voting twice, in 2020. The District of Columbia Board of Elections fined Vanessa Rubio $500 for voting in different jurisdictions in that year’s general election. Now, I know that your average Democrat is not very smart, and I grew up in Chicago, so I know a lot about Democrats, you know, voting more than once and dead Democrats voting and things.”

Tony Katz, WIBC in Indianapolis, Indiana: “(Guest Jim Lakely) I have bad news for you, my friend, you are also in very big trouble. In fact, I am (too), right now just by speaking on your radio show, because 48% of likely voters say that media members who alleged election fraud should be criminally punished if Trump is also found guilty of those crimes.”

Mike Slater, Breitbart Daily News: “Donald Trump said this is the most important poll that’s been done in 20 years. And he might be right about that because if people are admitting to this, there’s no way … why would you admit to committing voter fraud in a poll if you didn’t? I can’t understand that motive unless you wanted to make it seem like other people committed voter fraud.”

Steve Gruber, Syndicated in Michigan: “(Guest Chris Talgo) We polled 33% Republicans, 36% Democrats and the rest were unaffiliated and the results are stunning. You know, the Democrats really, really want Donald Trump to rot in jail for the rest of his life for basically questioning the 2020 election.”

WTN Nashville’s Morning News with Dan Mandis: “17% of mail in voters said they signed a ballot for a friend or family member with or without his or her permission. I mean, I could go on but I think that you get my point. That’s not even taking into account, of course, all of the other hijinks and shenanigans from the mainstream media and social media as it relates to them trying to discredit the very credible laptop from hell.”

Drew Steele, Fox News Radio 92.5 in Ft. Myers, Florida: “The Heartland Institute notes filling out ballots on behalf of another person is illegal across the United States. But that doesn’t stop the left, does it? … Remember when every time Democrats would talk about a Republican they’d call them an election denier. So, what about this?”

Todd and Oz Show, KLBJ in Austin, Texas: “So you have all … 20% is a massive number … that’s a huge number of people saying, yeah, you know, I bent the rules a little bit.”

Chris Hand, WWTN in Nashville, Tennessee: “The results of this survey are nothing short of stunning, says Justin Haskins with the Heartland Institute in a statement. He says for the past three years, Americans have repeatedly been told that the 2020 election was the most secure in history and they were also told: Don’t you dare question it. But if this poll’s findings are reflective of reality, the exact opposite is true, the conclusion isn’t based on conspiracy theories.”

Nationally Syndicated Redeye Radio: “I thought when we previewed this earlier, I thought this would be a bigger news story. And I thought so too, especially in conservative Republican circles, but just in general, I mean, because the survey, I don’t care where you stand on the issue. It’s really interesting.”

Nationally Syndicated America at Night with Rich Valdes: “Now, taking only the first instance, that means 21% of all mail-in ballots were fraudulent in 2020. However, it’s important to note that this number was likely much higher because the survey questions were not mutually exclusive. Though there’s some crossover between the categories, some voters committed fraud by filling out a ballot for a friend or a family member, while an entirely different subset of voters committed fraud by casting mail-in ballots in a state in which they weren’t a resident anymore. So using only the most conservative estimate of 21%, the number of fraudulent ballots is still astronomically high.”

Cut Jib Podcast (Ace of Space HQ blog): “Let’s not lose sight of the fact that this poll is just a watershed moment and it just forces people now to have the conversation [about voter fraud]. The problem is one side of this country does not want to have a conversation, as we all know. Tthey just want to shut us up and kill us — either figurative rhetorically or perhaps even literally.”

May & Amy in the Morning, WHO, DeMoines, Iowa: “I was reading this yesterday and I just, it like blew me away. … For the last several years, we’ve been told, oh no, the 2020 election that was the most secure in history. But the polls findings are kind of reflective of the reality.”

Equal Time with Jay, Rocco & Mark, WUTQ, Utica, New York: “So unfortunately, for those people — and [The Heartland Institute’s] point through all their commentary on the press release here — is that people were gas lit, the media. If you question the results of this election or said there was fraud going on, you were gas lit, you were attacked, you were called a conspiracy theorist. At least 20% of the people acknowledged that they did these acts and you can’t deny that they said they did it. So for all those people that said this stuff was occurring, they were right.”

The Mark Belling Show, WIBC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin: “(Fill-in host David Clark): We were on to something immediately after the election, talking to stop the steal. It was stolen. And I’m saying that to this day.
And I don’t care what the left calls me. ‘Oh, he’s an election denier.’ Call me what you want. I’m not walking away from this..”

The Line with Andrew McLain, Talk 99.5 in Birmingham, Alabama: “Like so many others, after the 2020 election and in the kickoff to the January 6th committee, all of those people that were very outspoken on how we were dealing with voter fraud had their careers threatened, had people come to them and say, if you ever want to work in D.C. Again, you better turn your back on Trump and you better turn your back on this idea of election fraud. That’s exactly what happened to Bill Barr.”

Vicki McKenna, WISN in Madison, Wisconsin: “There was another big story today. And that was the Rasmussen survey that came out that had 20% of absentee balloters in the 2020 election admitting they committed voter fraud. This is not estimates. This is a poll that was done by Rasmussen of people who cast absentee ballots in 2020.”
