No. 27 An Enterpreneurial Approach to Science Education

Published August 19, 1989

There is a profound crisis in America public education. This crisis is widespread and affects all regions of the country and all aspects of education. It is particularly damaging in science and technology education because of the critical role these subject will play in keeping America competitive in the 21st  Century. As the use of techology becomes more widespread in a global economy, the need for workers with solid backgrounds in science will continue to increase. At the same time, our ability to provide adequate science education in America’s public schools is on the decline.
