The 16th Annual Case Management Society of America (CMSA) Conference and Expo will be held in Grapevine, Texas on June 13-17, 2006, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center.
The theme of the conference, “One Purpose, Many Paths–New Paradigms in Case Management,” reflects the industry’s strong focus on the varied strategies within case/care management to improve the quality and cost efficiency of health care.
The conference is an opportunity for case managers and allied health care professionals to earn continuing-education credits by participating in a high-caliber education program. It also provides a unique forum for networking with colleagues who share backgrounds in care coordination.
More than 2,300 health care professionals from diverse work settings are expected to attend CMSA’s Conference and Expo in 2006. The exposition hall will feature more than 250 exhibits.
Among the keynote speakers on the program are: Archelle Georgiou, MD, executive vice president of Strategic Relations, Optum/UnitedHealthcare; Susan Dentzer, health correspondent and head of the Health Policy Unit, PBS NewsHour with Jim Lehrer; Diann Uustal, RN, MS, EdD, founder and president of Educational Resources in Healthcare, Inc.; and Barb Bancroft, RN, MSN, PNP, award-winning speaker, author, and teacher.
