Energy Experts Sound the Alarm for America
Podcast -Europe is in the midst of an energy crisis, and it goes past Russia's invasion of Ukraine. For years, leaders across Europe have decided to implement energy policies that signal their green virtue but fail to provide adequate amounts of energy. Now, they're paying the price.
America is headed down the same path. We're already seeing the effects Biden's policies have had on gas prices, but that's just the start. That's why energy experts are sounding the alarm.
On the newest episode of Climate Change Roundtable, Andy Singer, Anthony Watts, and H. Sterling Burnett discuss the current situation in America as well as pay respects to the recently passed climate scientist Dr. Tim Ball.

Does America Have to Follow California Down the Dead-End Road of Failing Energy? (Guest: Ronald Stein)
Podcast -California's energy policies are leading us down the road to economic disaster. But it’ll be more than just Californians who pay. Unfortunately, California’s policies may drag other countries, and the auto industry as a whole, down with it. In the end, modern society cannot sustain itself without the thousands of products made using fossil fuels. And even if it could, slave labor is used to manufacture the green sources of electricity used globally. And no one mentions how destructive the environmental impact renewables have.

How Atlantic Ocean Wind Projects Will Kill Endangered Whales
Podcast -The Heartland Institute has joined allies in hiring a law firm to fight the wind power project off the coast of Virginia that may end the existence of the North Atlantic right whale.
Heartland Institute President James Taylor joined the "Mike Ferguson in the Morning" show in St. Louis to talk about Heartland's involvement in an effort to protect the North Atlantic right whale — of which there are only about 300 left — as well as how other supposedly "green" energy projects have turned what we think of environmentalism on its head. Wind power companies can kill thousands of birds and bats, many of them endangered, with no penalty from the government. But if a random bird dies on the property of a conventional energy plant, the feds drop the hammer.

Hurricane Ian Isn’t a Sign of Anthropogenic Climate Change
Podcast -H. Sterling Burnett joins the John Steigerwald Show to discuss the corporate media’s use of Hurricane Ian to push their alarmist narrative. Rather than show sympathy for those affected by this extreme weather event, media pundits such as Don Lemon on CNN are using the moment to try and scare Americans into relinquishing their liberty in order to fight the false threat of human induced climate change. Burnett sets the record straight. -
Biden Policies May Lead to Whale Extinction Event (Guest: David Wojick)
Podcast -The Inflation Reduction Act provides billions of dollars in tax credits for renewable energy projects, but wage and materials provision are likely to ensure few new projects get built. However, ongoing efforts to build new offshore industrial wind facilities, another Biden initiative, may cause the extinction of the North Atlantic Right Whale. Lawsuits are likely to challenge offshore wind projects to protect the whales which are already protected by several federal laws. Environmentalists will have to choose sides, protect the environment, or promote industrialization. Regardless, even if all these projects come to pass, they will have no effect on climate change.

The Great Reset and Crazy Energy Policies: Marc Morano
Podcast -In California, Europe, and beyond the impacts of crazy energy policies they have governments there have imposed are coming home to roost, and its bad for their residents. Yet in an effort to push a Great Reset of the global economy, many governments are doubling down on policies that have created the present energy crisis.
It seems rationing and COVID like energy lockdowns are the goal so elites can impose their vision of a planned economy on the worlds people. Because planned economies do poorly, this means everyone, but the elites wielding power must do with less, less resources and less freedom.

Some States Fight Crazy Energy Policies, Others Embrace Them (Guest: Tim Benson)
Podcast -California is leading the charge on misguided energy policies that are both ineffective at protecting the environment and markedly anti-consumer. Other states such as Florida and Texas are doing the opposite, fighting back against energy policies and corporate efforts, such as ESG programs, that hurt residents. Floridians and Texans will benefit while California’s residents watch their energy and transportation systems become less secure. People’s lives are being put at risk.
Both corporations and the government must not be allowed to force investment decisions on people. Blocking these anti-consumer efforts will expand freedom and economic well-being. Mandating only wind and solar removes individual choice and endangers lives.

Connecting the Great Reset and Climate Policy (Guest: Charles Steele)
Podcast -Global elites at the World Economic Forum are using climate change and ESG efforts to push a great reset of capitalism. This authoritarian push will trample property rights and personal liberties in order to satisfy corporate and government elites concerned with how the world should look. Profit must be replaced by amorphous social and environmental credit scores with everyone assigned a biometric id: a dystopian nightmare straight out of "A Brave New World."

A Tale of Two Climates: One Real, One Imaginary (Guest: Bill Pekny)
Podcast -The climate was not stagnant before human carbon dioxide emissions. Rather, Earth’s climate is consistently changing across a variety of timescales. It has been warmer and cooler than it is today. There is no evidence we are in the midst of a climate crisis driven by carbon dioxide emissions. Earth’s present warming is similar to the warming experienced during every previous interglacial cycle throughout its history. Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant. It’s necessary to life.

The Inflation Reduction Act Won’t Reduce Inflation nor Impact Climate Change (Guest: Marlo Lewis)
Podcast -The Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Senior Fellow Marlo Lewis joins host Sterling Burnett on today’s episode of Environment & Climate News. Lewis explains why the Democrats’ misleadingly named Inflation Reduction Act will likely add to inflation whilst doing nothing to prevent climate change. The main impact of the energy provisions within will be increased energy costs for Americans.
Fossil fuels are the mainstay of U.S. and global economies. The Inflation Reduction Act aims to make coal, oil, and gas production costlier while providing subsidies for less effective, more expensive, green energy sources. Politically connected billionaires will benefit from the hardships imposed on business and households through rising energy prices, further enriching themselves in the process.

Evidence Against a Climate Crisis
Podcast -Anthony Watts, senior fellow for environment and climate at The Heartland Institute, joins the Chris Berg Show to discuss the mountain of evidence indicating there’s no climate crisis. Watts talks about the inaccuracies that plague climate models. He then discusses how the temperature record is based on flawed data.

96% of U.S. Climate Data Is Corrupted
Podcast -A new bombshell report found that 96% of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) temperature stations produce corrupted data due to purposeful placement in man-made hot spots. These stations fail to meet the published standards deemed "acceptable" by NOAA itself.
This nationwide study follows up widespread corruption and heat biases found at NOAA stations in 2009, and the heat-bias distortion problem is even worse now.
The report eviscerates the media's narrative that the Earth is seeing runaway global warming. Has the Earth warmed over the last 20 years? Yes. Has it warmed to the degree the media claims? No. And most importantly, is it catastrophic? Absolutely not.
Anthony Watts, director of the study, joins the Shaun Thompson Show to discuss his findings.

The Official U.S. Surface Temperature Record Remains Fatally Flawed (Guest: Anthony Watts)
Podcast -The temperature data sets used in official government reports making alarming claims about rapidly rising temperatures and dangerous climate change come from a fatally flawed network of weather stations. More than 96 percent of the stations surveyed fail to meet the National Weather Service’s requirements for quality measurements. As a result, the official temperature record is biased, being more than twice as hot as records from the U.S. Climate Reference Network. If we can't trust the temperature records, which is supposed to be the driving force for dangerous climate change, why should we trust the predictions of worsening extreme weather made by government agencies? -
Al Gore’s Scare Stories Fall on Deaf Ears
Podcast -After years of appearing as an “expert,” the public knows Al Gore spews false prediction after false prediction on climate change. He then labels those who expose how often he’s wrong as buffoons or terrorists. Gore is using scare stories to profit and gain power, and he’s doing it by trying to terrify the public.
H. Sterling Burnett, director of Heartland’s Arthur B. Robinson Center on Environment and Climate, joins The John Steigerwald Show to discuss how Al Gore got rich of climate fearmongering.

Socialism Will Not Win Despite the Current Energy/Supply Crises (Guest: Jay Lehr)
Podcast -America's current energy and food crises are not the unintentional results of misguided policies. Rather, the crises are the deliberate result of policies imposed to turn people into serfs, giving global elites more control over peoples' lives. Elites want regular people to beg for ever more government help.
Fortunately, the people will eventually wake up. New technology and open markets will result in the removal of bad rulers, and thus, improved lives. The pendulum will swing back to freedom for a while. But we must fear protect freedom when authoritarianism creeps in.

Biden and Company Created Today’s Energy Crisis, ESG Is Exacerbating It (Guest: Gary Stone)
Podcast -The statements made by the Biden administration and Congressional Democrats about the fossil fuel industry's dim future created the energy crisis plaguing the nation. Policies implemented that damage the industry reinforce and exacerbate the issue. Proposed corporate and government ESG mandates are the cherry on top. As Gary Stone of Five States Energy explains, America has the energy to be independent and prosperous. The only thing holding its production back is alarmist climate rhetoric and policies adopted to end fossil fuel use in the name of fighting climate change and establishment of a new world order.

SCOTUS Strikes Down EPA Overreach (Guest: Steve Goreham)
Podcast -The U.S. Supreme Court's majority ruling in West Virginia vs. EPA blocks prevents the EPA from enacting large-scale restrictions on carbon dioxide production. This is victory for eco-sanity since human CO2 emissions don't control the climate. The ruling is also a big win for the economy since fossil fuels are vital to modern life.
More, the SCOTUS ruling upholds Congress’ role in setting major policies through legislation, rather than a "pen and a phone" in the executive office. CO2 is beneficial. Nothing humans do to restrain it can control the weather, but efforts to do so can wreak havoc on human lives and livelihoods.

The Lies of the Green Energy Movement
Podcast -Heartland Institute President James Taylor was a recent guest on the Shaun Thompson Show on AM 560 The Answer in Chicago. Taylor was invited on the program to talk about the lies of the green energy movement, the truth about climate science, and the Supreme Court ruling that the Environmental Protection Agency has been abusing its regulatory power for far too long. -
SCOTUS Lands a Knockout Blow on the EPA
Podcast -Fresh off the heels of the Roe vs. Wade decision, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) just neutered the runaway powers the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) claimed to have. Referencing the Clean Air Act, the EPA has enacted regulations, fines, and other indirect means to essentially create quasi-legislation outside of the bounds of congress. This power wielded by the EPA was never granted and is supposed to reside within those who United States citizens elect to congress. Instead, Americans fell victim to wildly overbearing regulations enacted by unelected bureaucrats.

How to Defeat the Global Green New Deal/ESG Cabal of Bankers and Politicians (Guest: Michelle Stirling)
Podcast -Michelle Stirling of Canada's Friends of Science explains that a decade’s worth of international efforts to end the use of fossil fuels has borne fruit through ESG mandates and similar policies. Crony capitalists reap the benefits while the modern electric grid perishes. Neither laws nor money can change physics, meaning if we want to improve the lot of the world’s poor and maintain our own standards of living in the West, we must continue to use fossil fuels for the foreseeable future. Political efforts to limit fossil fuel use does great harm but doesn’t change the reality of the incomparable benefits delivered by coal, natural gas, and oil.
