Coffee Clash

Published July 9, 2011

A southern Illinois woman has filed a lawsuit because she says the coffee she bought tastes bad.

The suit, allegedly a class action, claims she purchased coffee “cartridges” for a Keurig coffee maker. The cartridges were supposed to produce “fresh, hot, and delicious” coffee, made from “the world’s highest quality Arabica beans, roasted and ground to ensure peak flavor, then packaged to lock in optimum freshness,” the complaint alleges. Instead, the complaint alleges, the coffee cartridge contained instant coffee and it did not taste good.
