Thank you for publishing Mr. Samuelson’s article on global warming [“Greenhouse Simplicities” August 20]. Climate change is an important issue these days and not because we are heading for a climate cataclysm, as Al Gore suggests. It is important because costly and unnecessary government regulation implemented in this generation could ensure the next one faces serious threats to its economic prosperity.
