Global Warming Skeptics More Knowledgeable than Alarmists, Study Finds

Global warming alarmists often accuse skeptics of being “anti-science,” but a new study finds skeptics are more scientifically knowledgeable than the alarmist name-callers.

A study published Sunday in Nature Climate Change documented that global warming skeptics scored better on a test of 22 scientific and statistical questions than people who are worried about global warming.

“As respondents’ science literacy scores increased, their concern with climate change decreased,” observed the study, which was funded by the National Science Foundation.

The study, “The Polarizing Impact of Science Literacy and Numeracy on Perceived Climate Change Risks,” is available here.
