Cook County Commissioner Bridget Gainer will convene a hearing at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 4 to take testimony from Institute for Truth in Accounting CEO Sheila Weinberg and Heartland Institute Director of Government Relations John Nothdurft about their report outlining the true extent of municipal debt in the county.
The hearing will feature the public release of the executive summary of the report. Weinberg and Nothdurft will be available to the media following the hearing.
