Journalist Susan Konig was named managing editor of Health Care News in September. The December 2004 issue will be the first under her management, as November is a scheduled “skip month” for the newspaper.
Konig began her journalism career in the 1980s as a style writer for the Washington Post Style section. She went on to be a fashion, beauty, and health editor for Seventeen magazine. As a freelance writer, her features have appeared in Health, Ladies’ Home Journal, Travel & Leisure, and Parade.
Konig began writing a twice-a-week column on motherhood and family for the New York Post in 1998. Her columns now appear in National Review Online and Catholic Digest.
