On January 3, the Union of Concerned Scientists released a report titled “Smoke, Mirrors and Hot Air,” attacking groups that are skeptical of the alarmist view of climate change. Among the groups attacked was the George C. Marshall Institute.
The UCS report argues that support for institutions like the Marshall Institute is specifically intended to spread inaccurate information about climate.
In this news release issued January 4, Marshall President Jeff Kueter rebutted this contention and defended the right to free and uncensored scientific investigation, expression, and association.
