Nun Tackles Criminal Eco-Nut in France, Hilarity Ensues

No one expects the Spanish Inquisition. But do you know what one expects even less? To see a video of a middle-aged French nun tackling a soy-boy eco-nut with such quickness and good form that she deserves a try-out with the Chicago Bears. Or at least consideration for the coaching staff at Notre Dame.

Video of a French nun taking down a climate justice weakling went viral this week, even warranting a story in one of the biggest newspapers in the United States, the New York Post.

Eco-nuts were protesting the construction of a Catholic basilica in France. They were grabbing pipes and other construction materials to take off site and/or destroy. One nun had had enough and decided to tackle one of the soy-boys who was running off with two pipes.

Like the wimp he is, the “man” tossed the pipes toward his friend and let out a little squeal before the middle-aged nun put him in the mud. It’s hard to tell, but she may have gotten in a little rabbit punch to the man’s chest once he was on the ground. When I was a kid, the nuns whacked you on the hand with a ruler to discipline you. But, with environmental nut jobs, they have obviously had to step up their game. Impressive.

These pathetic losers oppose the construction to save a supposedly rare plant in the area, the “reseda of jackfruit.” And in case you were wondering, there were cops there. Ten of them. And they did nothing. They just stood there as the criminals stole property and destroyed it.

But perhaps my favorite part is how these morons, while destroying someone else’s property and trying to prevent the construction of a Catholic basilica, were shocked that “violence” from nuns would be the consequences.

“I didn’t expect that,” co-president of the association for the future of the Bourges valley Sylvain Hérenguel told public broadcast channel France 3. “I expected the nuns to be a little reasonable for the public order. The problem is that the religious people decided to resort to violence. I was attacked three times by five people, who snatched me, who wanted to throw me out [of] there. They decided to protect the site with their actions and their bodies.”

And that, right there, is the problem. Environmental nut-jobs have no respect for “the public order.” They believe they can disrupt the lives of ordinary people, and destroy the property of others — acts that can be considered violence in certain circumstances — and receive no violent acts in return. That it came from fed-up nuns is no surprise to anyone who went to Catholic school.

I suspect that is the last time these folks try to commit acts of vandalism on that church construction site. The police should make sure … for the safety of the eco-nuts. You definitely don’t want the nuns to escalate this situation. Unlike devotees of the pagan Church of the Climate Apocalypse, the nuns are actually doing the work of God.
