It soon may be a crime in Massachusetts to “bully” a coworker.
The proposed law would criminalize workplace conduct including:
- yelling, shouting, screaming
- the silent treatment
- backstabbing
- insults
- excessively harsh criticism
- unreasonably heavy work demands
Oh, the misery.

Maureen Martin, a former legal fellow at The Heartland Institute, passed away on February 5, 2013.
