Sticky Situation

Published May 7, 2012

A woman claiming to have been stuck in a hotel parking garage elevator for 20 minutes is suing the hotel for unspecified damages.

She alleges it was “unbearably hot” in the elevator. She says she screamed for help for the entire time until an employee rescued her by prying open the elevator doors. He didn’t help her move out of the elevator, so she fell. She claims she suffered physical injuries in the fall and “experienced emotional distress, great fear and anxiety.”
