Stop Me Before I Drink More!

Published October 3, 2011

An Idaho college student and her parents are suing a University of Idaho fraternity, her sorority, university officials, and others for failing to prevent her from drinking too much alcohol and falling out of a window during a party at the fraternity house.

The complaint alleges the student and her date were lying on his bed, the middle tier of a three-tier bunk bed, “talking.” The bed was near an open window and she rolled over and out of it, the complaint alleges, which claims the university, the fraternity, and the sorority did not do enough to stop underage drinking.
