Last week, radical leftists who can’t stand what The Heartland Institute does — fight for liberty, advance free-market capitalism, and oppose climate alarmism — took out their hatred in the form of “direct action” that left the American and Gadsden Flags that fly above our building into a pile of melted nylon at the bottom of the flag pole.
Well, as I wrote last week, they would be quickly replaced. Today was the day, and it was glorious to see two even bigger flags replace the old ones.
The “Halls of Montezuma” music playing — the Marines’ Hymn — was blasting from the truck of our very patriotic handyman, who loves us and what we do.
