CFACT Taps Marc Morano to Head Project

Published May 1, 2009

The Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow is adding environmental policy writer and analyst Marc Morano to its staff to lead a project providing information about global warming.

CFACT Executive Director Craig Rucker made the announcement at the 2009 International Conference on Climate Change.

Morano served for several years on the U.S. Senate’s Environment and Public Works Committee under Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK), receiving much acclaim for his reporting on climate change. This April he begins managing a new, state-of-the-art Web site designed to be a one-stop shop on global warming issues.

The announcement drew a strong round of applause from conference attendees, and several media outlets interviewed Morano about his new project.

Also at the conference, Morano delivered a presentation on congressional missteps regarding climate change policy.
