The achievements of charter schools across the United States will be recognized and celebrated during National Charter Schools Week, April 30-May 4. Cosponsored by more than 70 organizations in over 40 states, the celebration is supported by President George W. Bush, U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige, and many of the nation’s political and educational leaders. Among the activities will be local and statewide conferences and tours, and school-based celebrations.
