“We now know that many of the services once thought to be “public goods” properly delivered by governments can in fact be delivered better by private competing companies. Privatization, not municipalization, is a multi-billion-dollar megatrend at the municipal level in the U.S. … and worldwide. It has been studied extensively … a literature that the advocates of municipal broadband are, without exception, completely ignorant of.”
