Opponents Ignore Charter School Success

Thank you for publishing Lindalyn Kakadelis’ article “The waiting lists speak” [August 3].

Charter opponents like to paint failed charter schools as a reflection on the whole charter project. But their logic is flawed. Aren’t there plenty of failing public schools? Would they have us shut down the entire public system? Certainly not.
