“The Constitution of the United States is one of the most prized documents in our nation’s history. Constitution Day is a special occasion marked each year to celebrate the signing of our national governing charter. Citizens not just in the United States, but around the world admire our Constitution because of its endurance through 27 amendments.

“This Constitution Day should be an opportunity for state legislatures to reclaim the governing powers given to them by the document’s framers. Our country works best with a limited national government, not a large central government. When the states reclaim their rightful power is the moment when the Washington bureaucrats can be kept in check.”
