Common Core is a set of national mandates for curriculum and tests in K-12 math and English. Most states signed on in 2010, and parents have been raising a furor about the initiative in the last year as it has reached their kids’s schools. Even if they’re keen on Common Core, it’s given teachers lots more work, as this song illustrates.
